Greetings to each of you at this very special time of year!  It's my prayer that you had a wonderful Christmas and a great 2009.  I can honestly say it has been an awesome year for me, my family and New Life Baptist Church.  There has been a wonderful Spirit in our church as God has added, great people, to our number and has done a great work in the hearts of our members.  As we move into this new year what an awesome time to inventory all the blessings of God in our lives.  Even with trails and testing, we must remember God's word says, "And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28.

If you have not made any New Year's Resolutions, let me encourage you to do so.  Pray about what God would have you resolve in your heart to do in the year 2010.  Remember what Paul said " I forget about the past and press toward the mark (goal) of the high calling."  I encourage you to set some goals for the New Year.... pray more, study God's word more, witness more, be faithful in your attendance, giving and loving others.  This has been a great year of growth, but 2010 can hold more growth in our numbers, in our ministries and in each of us.
